There are 3 elements with in Symphony that can have a cost allocated to them:
- Tickets
- Sessions
- Accommodation
Sessions have the flexibility to be any chargeable item, such as a T-shirt, badge, exhibition dimension/area or even a donation.
Set up your sessions as 'Bookable' which means the delegate must opt into it, rather than the session being plenary. Add a dummy date and room, this will not show on the form. You can then give the session a title, which in this case could be; 'I would like to make a donation of £5.00'. Give the session a cost of £5.00 and add this session (donation) to the booking form. This will appear in the summary of the booking and on any invoices.
